We use organic whole grains because they provide superior nutrition. Chemicals and preservatives are unnatural and we do not use them.
We bake with love and attention. You will taste it!
We use locally produced ingredients whenever we can.
When this is not possible, as in the case of sugar, we work with companies
who support Fair Trade and Fair Wage practices.
We use grains grown and milled by Plapp Family Organics in Malta, IL (western DeKalb County).
In most of our breads, we use a bit of Honey. The honey comes from Sassey's Apiary in Chestnut, IL.
We get cheese from Ropp Jersey Farms.
