We bake Simple Breads and Sweet Treats using locally produced ingredients such as locally grown flours as available, dairy, locally raised eggs and locally produced honey.  For those products which are not available locally, such as sugar, we work with companies who are supportive of Fair Trade and Fair Wage practices.

10.27 and 10.28 Chicago Cooking Expo at Arlington Racetrack in Arlington Heights, IL  We sampled our Sweet Harvest muffins and cakes.  If you would like to order some for the holidays, we will certainly ship to you.    If you'd like to order any other times, we will arrange for delivery, pick-up or shipping.

We make a variety of yeast and quick breads, made to suit your needs.  We can make products without eggs or dairy to suit the needs of a vegan diet.  We can also make multi-grain and wheat-free versions of any of our products.  We make gluten-free items We are willing to work with you to come up with a product that suits your needs.  Please visit Our Products to learn about all of our many options. 
"Bread from the Heart is my contribution to the local, sustainable living movement.  It seems to me that a basic item, such as bread, should be pure, nutritious, and, of course, tasty.  I also believe that business has a responsibility to the greater community.  To fulfill that responsibility, we work with socially responsible Not for Profit organizations. One of our current programs is with the Ray Graham Association for People with Disabilities
